About Us

Jennifer began taking lessons at the age of 7 and was immediately hooked. Soon after she got her first pony and spent four years as a member of the Delacour Pony Club, learning the basics of horsemanship, dressage, show jumping and cross country. It was during this time that she discovered her love of jumping and turned her sights to the show jumping ring. After competing in the hunter ring at local area shows, it was the jumper ring that really held her passion. Her next mount was a very quick off the track Thoroughbred named Polar Flight, with whom together forged a competitive career in the jumper ring.​ Jennifer has shown at many venues, including Spruce Meadows, Rocky Mountain Show Jumping, and Thunderbird Show Park. Believing in a well-rounded training program for both horse and rider, she acknowledges that one’s learning is never complete and brings this philosophy into her program. She has had the privilege to train and ride with some exceptional coaches such as Rodney Tulloch, Jeff Campf, Elizabeth Gingras, Noel Clark, Lientje Schueler, and Shelley Malbeuf.

She is a Certified Equestrian Coach, completing the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) through Equestrian Canada, and is also accredited through the Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA) as a certified instructor. She is also on the Alberta Equestrian Federation (AEF) Board of Directors, elected in March 2022.
